Song, Iickho

Prof. Song is a Fellow of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology (KAST), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He has co-authored several books, including Advanced Theory of Signal Detection (Springer, 2002), Probability and Random Variables: Theory and Applications (Springer, 2022), and Fundamentals of Order and Rank Statistics (Springer, 2024). Additionally, he has published numerous articles in the fields of signal processing and mobile communications. Prof. Song has received a number of academic awards, such as the Young Scientists Award (KAST) in 2000, the Achievement Award (IET) in 2006, and the Hae Dong Information and Communications Academic Award (KICS) in 2006. In terms of academic services, he once served as the Treasurer for the IEEE Korea Section; an Editor for the Journal of the ASK, Journal of the IEEK, Journal of the KICS, and Journal of Communications and Networks (JCN); and the Division Editor for JCN. His research interests include Signal Detection, Statistical Signal Processing, Communication Theory, and AI.

Xinheng Wang

Founding Head of Mechatronics and Robotics at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. As an IET Fellow, IEEE Senior Member, and leader of Jiangsu's "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" team, his research spans intelligent/connected vehicles, airport robotics, smart manufacturing, edge computing, digital twins, acoustic sensing, healthcare, motion detection, and power system monitoring, including SLAM/navigation in robotics. With 230+ publications and dozens of patents (6 granted in the U.S./Japan/Korea, 18 in China), his work was rated "World Leading" in the UK's REF. He has led/contributed to 30+ projects funded by the EU, UK EPSRC, Innovate UK, NSFC, and industry, driving technological and industrial advancements.

Theodoros A. Tsiftsis

Theodoros A. Tsiftsis  (IEEE Senior Member) is currently a Professor with the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Thessaly, Greece. He also holds visiting appointments as Visiting Professor of Wireless Communications at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), Ningbo, China, and Honorary Professor at Shandong Jiaotong University, Jinan, China. Prof. Tsiftsis has authored more than 330 publications in leading international journals and conferences. His research interests lie broadly in communication theory and wireless communications, with emphasis on Wireless Communications Theory, AI-driven Wireless Systems, Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces, Optical Wireless Communications, and Physical Layer Security. Prof. Tsiftsis has been recognized as an IEEE Vehicular Technology Society Distinguished Lecturer (2018–2022) and currently serves as an IEEE Communications Society Distinguished Lecturer (2024–2025).

Kong Xiangjie

The Vice Dean and Professor at the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology. He is a IEEE Senior Member, a recipient of the Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund, a Qianjiang Distinguished Expert of Hangzhou, and a Canal Young Scholar at Zhejiang University of Technology. He is also the founder and director of the Urban Science and Social Computing Laboratory. His primary research areas include urban computing, social computing, and knowledge management. He has published and accepted over 200 papers in internationally renowned journals and conferences such as IEEE TKDE, IEEE TMC, IJCAI, and ACM Computing Surveys, with more than 180 of these papers indexed by SCI. He has been consistently listed in Stanford's Global Top 2% Scientists (including both the Career-long and Single-year Impact lists) and has been recognized as a top scientist in the field of computer science, reported by authoritative media such as Nature Index and ScienceNet. He has been granted over 30 invention patents and has led the completion of numerous national and provincial-level research projects. He serves as an Editor for international SCI journals including Wireless Communications and Computing, PeerJ Computer Science, KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems, and Electronics. Additionally, he has been a (Lead) Guest Editor for special issues of several international SCI journals such as Pervasive and Mobile Computing, IEEE Access, and International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks.

Teh Ying Wah

Professor of Data Mining at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, serves as the Director of the Research Center for Security Control Technology and the Leader of the Innovation Team in Key Areas under the Ministry of Transport. His research interests span data mining, deep learning, Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, task scheduling, data streams, mobile computing, speaker verification, language recognition, and clustering algorithms. He has published over 90 papers in both domestic and international journals and conferences, including renowned publications such as Information Fusion and International Journal of Information Management. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Editor for Human-Media Interaction - Frontiers in Psychology and serves as a reviewer for multiple high-impact journals. Additionally, he is a member of the Expert Advisory Panel for the Master of Data Science program at UTP, a Course Advisory Panel member for the Bachelor of Business Analytics program at TARUC, and an External Assessor for the Bachelor of Computer Science program at Swinburne University of Technology.

Xiaodong Liu

Prof. Xiaodong Liu has been very active in the research in AI-driven software engineering, focusing on cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things, service-oriented architecture, evolution of cloud services, and intelligence-driven software engineering. He has won 15 external grants and successfully led or leading these externally funded projects with the role of principal investigator with a total value of over 4.5 million GBPs to his university. Currently Prof Liu leads the Intelligence-Driven Software Engineering Research Group. He is the founder a spin out company, FlexiCAGE Ltd. He has published 200 papers in refereed international journals and conferences and 5 book chapters. He is the inventor of 1 patent in Generative Component Adaptation registered in UK, USA and at International Level (PCT). He has been the chair, co-chair or PC member of a number of IEEE and ACM International Conferences. He is the associate editor of 2 international journals and the editorial board member of 3 international journals. He is the guest editor of 6 journal special issues, and the chief editor of 3 IGI Global Research Handbooks. He is the regular reviewer of other 6 international journals. He is a senior member of IEEE Computer Society, and a member of British Computer Society.

He Qiang

Dr. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Application Technology from Northeastern University, China in 2020, with a visiting fellowship at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2018-2019). Currently an Associate Professor at Northeastern University’s College of Medicine and Biological Information Engineering, he focuses on machine learning, social network analysis, and healthcare informatics. He has published 23 first/corresponding-author papers in premier venues including IEEE TKDE (CCF A), IEEE TNNLS, and NeurIPS (15 CCF A/IEEE Transactions papers), with 4 highly cited/hot papers. His seminal work on data-driven dynamic opinion propagation models in IEEE TKDE (highly cited) garnered citations from IEEE/ACM Fellows and received the 2021 Liaoning Computer Society Best Paper Award (1st rank) and 2023 Liaoning Natural Academic Achievement Award (3rd prize, 1st rank). His research demonstrates significant impact: single-paper peak IF 10.4, total SCI citations 864, and cumulative co-authored IF exceeding 500. With over 70 SCI-indexed publications, his work bridges computational innovation and infectious disease analytics.
